Metaswitch was honored in the 2010 CableFax Best of the Web Awards for its corporate rebranding and redesigned website.

For the fourth consecutive year, we have been awarded three stars in the Best Companies Accreditation (the highest number of stars that can be awarded). In 2010, there were 1086 companies that applied for star status. We are proud to be one of only 50 who achieved three stars.

We are one of a select group of recipients of the 2010 Queen's Award for Enterprise. This is the fourth Queen's Award we have achieved during our 29 year history and has been granted for 'continuous innovation and development' as well as commercial success of our MetaSphere application server.

Out of almost 1000 companies that applied for selection, we were placed 12th in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for 2010. This is the seventh consecutive year that we have been placed in the top 15 and we remained the top company from the Communications/Telecom sector. We ranked highly in several of the individual categories, including "Wellbeing" (how we look after people) and "Fair Deal" (rewarding people equitably).

Internet Telephony 2009 Product of the Year Award

Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine has named the Metaswitch SIP Trunking Solution as winner of the 2009 Product of the Year Award. The award recognizes Metaswitch's continued commitment to quality and excellence and its outstanding innovation in the development of IP communications technology.

ACQ Magazine has named Metaswitch as Telecommunications Company of the Year – UK.

Metaswitch has been profitable and grown revenues every single year - a track record that has earned it three Queen's Awards for Enterprise. It now employs over 500 people and does more than $100 million in business annually across the globe.

Eos Corporate Social Responsibility Program Strategic Support/Solutions Winner

Metaswitch won the Eos Award for Strategic Support and Solutions at SUPERCOMM 2009. Metaswitch was recognized for its partnership with Bresnan Communications, a broadband telecommunications company, to develop a hosted unified communications solution for Billings Public Schools. The SUPERCOMM Eos Awards honor companies that transform the communications industry through their products, services and network designs.

Our in-house IT Support team won Computer Weekly's Best Places to Work in IT award, 2009 (IT software and Hardware suppliers).

This is the fourth time we have won this award.

Out of almost 1000 companies that applied for selection, we were placed 9th in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for 2009. We were the top company from the Communications/Telecom sector. We came 2nd for 'lending a helping hand' and for having the 'most supportive managers'. We also came 3rd for offering a 'good work/life balance'.

We were awarded Three Stars in the Best Companies Accreditation 2009, an accolade we also achieved in 2007 and 2008. In a 'Michelin style' rating system, we were awarded the highest number of stars for our 'extraordinary' level of employee engagement. Out of 795 companies who entered, only 55 achieved Three Star status.

Unified Communications magazine 2008 Product of the Year Award

Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC®) Unified Communications magazine has named Metaswitch Live Message Screening™ as a recipient of its 2008 Product of the Year Award. The 2008 Unified Communications Product of the Year Award distinguishes those companies that brought ground-breaking advancements to UC technologies in the past year. These winners have demonstrated to the editors of Unified Communications that their products or services have gone the extra mile to help improve both the customer experience and the ROI for the companies that use them.

Metaswitch was selected as one of the top 15 VoIP companies in the 2008 Fierce VoIP Fierce 15. The award citation references Metaswitch's growing customer base, product innovation and commercial success.

Internet Telephony 2008 Excellence Award

Metaswitch received the 2008 Internet Telephony Excellence Award for its class 4/5 softswitch. The award recognizes Metaswitch's excellence in delivering VoIP/IP communications solutions.

Broadband Properties magazine's Top 100 Vendors for 2008 highlight the best-of-the-best in the fiber market, with a special focus on delivering the most innovative IT products and services to telecom service providers and municipalities.

Broadband Properties' Top 100 recognizes Metaswitch's contributions to advancement and excellent in the world of communications.

More than 600 entries were reviewed and judged by a panel of Broadband Properties editors and staff, while extensive research was done on each company.

Metaswitch received the Broadband Gear Report 2008 Diamond Award for its MetaView software, which was noted for its innovation, ease of use, efficiency, reliability and technological capabilities.

Metaswitch received the 2008 VON Innovator Award for its historic achievements in leading the Internet communications industry in migrating legacy telephone switches to packet architectures, and for its MetaSphere application suite.

Places to work in IT Computer Weekly Best 2008

We were one of five companies shortlisted for Computer Weekly's Best Places to Work in IT award, 2008 (IT software and Hardware suppliers).

Out of more than 800 companies that applied for selection, we were placed 14th in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for 2008. We were the top company for "managers who listen as well as talk", and also the top company from the Communications/Telecom sector.

We were awarded Three Stars in the Best Companies Accreditation 2008, an accolade we also acheived in 2007. Fewer than 8% of companies applying received Three Stars.

The company was specifically recognized for its outstanding product portfolio, including its Metaswitch class 4/5 softswitch and MetaSphere service delivery platform (SDP) and application suite.

We were originally accredited as an Investor in People in 2001, then re-accredited in 2004, and once again in 2007.

This Award recognizes the company's successful adoption of new or existing technology that has become a part of its well-designed product family.

The Broadband Properties "BBP Top 100" award was presented to Metaswitch as one of "the best of the best organizations" for Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) in 2006 based on vision, great execution, courage and more.

We have been placed in the Best Workplaces in the UK list by the Financial Times in 2006.

The Queen's Award for International Trade

In 2006, we were granted the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category. This award is the most prestigious UK business accolade. We had previously received the Queen's Award for Export Achievement in 1992 and 1999. Each accolade lasts for five years and can be reawarded every seven years.

The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2006

We were awarded 5th place in the (Mid-sized) Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for 2006.

We were awarded 3rd place in the Financial Times awards for the 50 Best Companies in the UK 2005.

The Financial Times also listed us as one of the 100 Best Workplaces in Europe for 2005.

2005 Internet Telephony Product of The Year award

In 2005 Internet Telephony awarded Metaswitch Network’s Session Border Controller solution Product of The Year in recognition of outstanding contributions to the Internet telephony industry.

Metaswitch was recognized by AT&T with their 2005 outstanding supplier award in the Product & Service Performance category.

The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For 2005: London

In 2005 we were 5th in the (Mid-sized) Sunday Time Best Companies to work for.

In that year, we also came 2nd in the London Region section.

Metaswitch received the Internet Telephony Product of the Year Award 2005 for its UC9000 Unified Communications System, an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) application server, now integrated with the MetaSphere SDP and Application Suite.

Metaswitch received the Internet Telephony Product of the Year award for 2000 and 2001 in the Next Generation Class 5 Switch category for the VP3500's predecessor, the VP3000.
