The Mobile TAS supports the concept of network slicing, which enables operators to spin up individual instances of the Mobile TAS and assign each instance to a “network slice” that is dedicated to serve a particular customer and/or meet specific use case requirements such as capacity, performance, privacy, multi-tenancy, etc.
The Mobile TAS VNF can provide any or all of the following logical network functions in single or multiple instances: IR.92 AS (VoLTE), IR.51 AS (VoWiFi), SCC-AS, IP-SM-GW.
