Honolulu, HI: January 15, 2008. MetaSwitch today announced at
the Pacific Telecommunications Council, PTC '08, that it has opened new support facilities
in Sydney, Australia, to better support the growing number of customers in the Asia-Pacific
region. Initially staffed by experienced support personnel transferred from MetaSwitch's
California office, the additional facilities form the basis of a long-term presence in the
region.

Asia-Pacific region, including the recent deployment by Cable & Wireless in Diego
Garcia," said John Palombo, senior vice president of customer support at
