Vanguard Networks Utilizes Data Connection's DC-SIP for VoIP
DC-SIP enables Vanguard Networks to offer the benefits of IP Telephony to its customer base of financial, retail, and enterprise markets.
London, UK: October 30, 2007. Data Connection Limited (DCL), the world's leading independent provider of communications protocol software, announced today that Vanguard Networks utilizes Data Connection's DC-SIP portable protocol software for voice over IP functionality in its family of enterprise routing platforms.
DC-SIP is Data Connection's industry leading Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) toolkit which includes fully portable source code, reference and test applications, and customization tools which greatly reduce time to market and development costs for system vendors. DC-SIP is part of Data Connection's family of VoIP/IMS protocols solutions, which also include Megaco/H.248, MGCP, Session Border Controller software, and Diameter products.
DC-SIP was selected by Vanguard Networks because of its modular and flexible architecture and Data Connection's reputation for superior support.

The addition of DC-SIP to Vanguard Networks' family of enterprise routers enables Media and Signaling Gateway functionality. Vanguard Networks now offers voice over IP services such as SIP trunking, corporate intranet calling, IP telephony access to local and long distance calls, and gradual migration to SIP phones, messaging, and conferencing devices.
