SIP Infrastructure
Our portfolio of SIP infrastructure components is specifically designed to enable wireline and wireless operators to make the migration to next generation networks. During and after this transitional period, our unique solutions ensure that these new infrastructures can scale to meet the future demands of rich multimedia session-based services.
Perimeta Session Border Controller
Designed to be deployed in decoupled next generation architectures, Perimeta represents a new class of SBC. Billions of residential, business and mobile endpoints are finally making the switch to VoIP. No more so than in the mobile arena, where VoLTE will drive voice into the packet switched domain. Furthermore, rich multimedia communications services, defined in 3GPP and OMA standards, will result in an increase in video traffic and an explosive growth of SIP messages. Custom architected with distributed signaling and media functions - conforming to 3GPP specifications - Perimeta is the only SBC that can cost-effectively scale to meet these new demands in both the access and interconnect points of wireline and wireless networks.
Service Broker
The Service Broker provides reliable, stateful mediation between services and network technologies. These components guarantee that applications developed in the advance intelligent network (AIN) will still operate effectively in the IP multimedia subsystem (IMS). Igniting IMS Centralized Services (ISC) in the AIN, the Service Centralization and Continuity Application Server (SCC-AS) is a standardized 3GPP function. The SCC-AS allows applications created using new-world web 2.0 API constructs to be leveraged in the old-world, as if they were developed with WIN, INAP or CAP. A vital transitional network element, our Service Broker defined this market segment and continues to deliver the most comprehensive solution available.
SIP Session Router
Now that SIP services are gaining a resounding foothold in NGN, the increasing number of endpoints, interconnects and sessions must be efficiently managed and effectively maintained. This challenge can be met with a SIP Session Router (SSR). The SSR simplifies core SIP routing, untangling the mesh of static route table entries on the ever-growing number of endpoints which lack any discernable dynamic topology discovery mechanisms. Featuring SIP message normalization and load balancing, the SSR is highly resilient and extremely scalable, enabling SIP-based IMS infrastructures to replicate the ubiquity and durability of their C7/SS7-centric AIN predecessors.

Service Broker
The Metaswitch Service Broker resides between the application cloud and the converging network/control layer to provide and manage application connectivity to disparate underlying networks. Purpose-built, highly scalable, and carrier grade, our Service Broker enables legacy, intelligent network (IN), IP and next-generation IMS applications to connect and interwork with your ever evolving network. )))

SIP Session Router
As the proliferation of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) continues unabated across all carrier infrastructures, the number of associated IP endpoints increases exponentially; a non-linear growth of user agents, messages and application endpoints, driven by the extensibility of SIP. But behind this rapid growth lies a challenge that can quickly thwart this new communications nirvana: burdening the simplicity of SIP with an excessive weight of network administration. )))
