purpose-built training centers in the United States. The courses are
designed to cover all the essentials of operating your MetaSwitch installation,
from basic training to advanced troubleshooting techniques.
They are taught by expert instructors who will make sure you come away
with the knowledge and tools you need to do your job effectively.

MetaSwitch Training Courses
MetaSwitch currently offers a series of MetaSwitch Training Courses that focus on MetaSwitch specifics and teach you how to provision, manage and maintain your MetaSwitch equipment.

We recommend that customers attend the MetaSwitch System Overview course before attending
the MetaSwitch Troubleshooting and MetaSphere UMS Administration and Troubleshooting courses.
New! The following new courses are starting in July:
Training courses make use of the MetaSwitch Portal, and participants will need
an individual username and password to access it. You can get the required information from your CSE
or account manager.
Technology Training Courses
Converging traditional voice and data networks into the new Next
Generation Network (NGN) brings new challenges for the people building and operating
these networks. Telephony people suddenly now need to know the basics about IP data
networks and IP network people need to know something about traditional telephony!
MetaSwitch now offers a series of technology courses to help you
fill your particular gaps around deploying a converged network. These courses are
vendor-neutral (not MetaSwitch specific) and allow you to build the necessary
foundation before diving into the details of understanding your new MetaSwitch network.
If you are new to IP data networks or are new to the concepts of
transporting voice over traditional IP networks, we recommend you take the following
courses:
Participants for the Advanced VoIP Engineering and Troubleshooting should either complete
the IP Foundations for VoIP course, or else have the Cisco Certified Network Associate
(CCNA) certification or equivalent and familiarity with VoIP systems.
If you come from a data background and are new to the wide world of
telephony we recommend you take the following course.
