CTI Group Launches Integrated SmartRecord IP Version 2.0 at the MetaSwitch Forum 2009

New functionality demonstrated at Expo

MetaSwitch Forum 2009, Las Vegas, NV: April 8, 2009. CTI Group (Holdings), Inc. (OTCBB:CTIG), an international provider of electronic invoice processing and management (EIM), enterprise communications management software, and carrier class voice over internet protocol (VoIP) management applications, today announced the launch of SmartRecord IP Version 2.0 at the MetaSwitch Forum 2009. CTI Group's SmartRecord IP has been MetaSwitch Partner Certified since July 2008. The new version of SmartRecord IP completely reinvents the tenant user interface, improves usability, and adds expanded feature-functionality to the SmartRecord IP product.

SmartRecord IP Version 2.0 is a more complete communications management solution, with unique call accounting features including dashboards, alerts and reporting functionality. The dashboards and reporting functions enable managers to monitor their departmental telecommunications usage easily. Using the alerts function, organizations can be alerted when something out of the ordinary happens. For example, if a 911 call is made, the administrator is alerted and is able to track that call back to its destination to verify their validity for the police so they know where to go in the building. These call accounting functions add depth of experience to the already robust SmartRecord IP call recording solution.

Some of the features that make SmartRecord IP a unique user experience include:

  • Dashboard displaying at-a-glance summarization of call recordings
  • Monitoring Calls in Progress
  • User-friendly web based browser interface
  • Text comments about calls to speed up search and retrieve facilities
  • Annotation is available to mark moments of interest in longer calls
  • Create Categories to keep recordings organized
  • Email Alerts for immediate user notification
  • Non-proprietary Media Player
  • Multi-select Archival
  • Permissions-based Access
  • CRM Integration

CTI Group's interoperability with MetaSwitch makes SmartRecord IP an easily added application for MetaSwitch's users. SmartRecord IP is quickly and easily deployed, highly scalable, and requires very little in regards to capital investment. Unlike packet-sniffing recorders, SmartRecord IP records from one central location in the network, reducing hardware, deployment time, and management overhead. Perhaps most importantly, SmartRecord IP offers service providers an easy add-on application that will provide high recurring revenue and increased differentiation in the VoIP services market while requiring very little in investment and deployment time.

"We are excited to demonstrate our newest version of SmartRecord IP at the MetaSwitch Forum 2009 to show the MetaSwitch user group exactly what sets SmartRecord IP apart from the competition and how SmartRecord IP can easily and quickly be added to their service offering to help them make more money," said Sid Rao, Chief Technology Officer, CTI Group, Inc.

"The success of the MetaSwitch Forum is based on the collaboration with all our partner companies that ultimately share our vision for streamlining the transition to next-generation networking," said Andy Randall, Vice President of Marketing for MetaSwitch. "We are pleased to welcome back CTI Group to this year's event."
