Metaswitch and NETXUSA Partner for Streamlined Hosted SMB Delivery Strategy

Metaswitch Forum 2011, Las Vegas, NV, October 3, 2011 - Metaswitch and NETXUSA today announced a partnership to simplify the go to market requirements of deploying hosted solutions in the SMB market for Metaswitch-powered service providers. By leveraging NETXUSA’s Channelware® system for pre-staging and Metaswitch CommPortal™ for ongoing end user changes, service providers will not only be able to deliver a fully automated pre-configured solution; but also, they will have the ability to easily manage ongoing customer requirements.

By using automated services to simplify the deployment process, Metaswitch customers are given the tools to overcome the pain points associated with taking a hosted SMB solution to market. Effectively, by using ChannelWare and CommPortal in conjunction with the hosted deployment, the Metaswitch service provider can eliminate the need for on-site installation, lengthy CPE certification process, management of inventory in house and truck rolls for adding or making changes to the CPE.

CommPortal Phone Configurator™ features an intuitive, graphic interface based on drop-down menus, that's made even simpler by generating an exact likeness of each end user's IP phone model on screen. CommPortal provides a complete suite of solutions to manage the on-going requirements of end points, while offering options for the Metaswitch partner to brand these portals for their end users. ChannelWare has been integrated to utilize all Metaswitch partner certified telephone configurations provided through CommPortal to ensure consistent deployment from pre-staging to install.

The ChannelWare universal provisioning system enables the company’s partners to pre-provision for installation any and all CPE for hosted SMB users through a very easy to use tool which provides engineers methods to support as many configuration options, on as many different device choices, while removing most of the time and research it takes to support said options or devices. ChannelWare’s device provisioning tool acts as a universal GUI for all product types and simplifies common tasks that most providers require to be performed on equipment before being deployed. “The synergy between CommPortal and ChannelWare provides Metaswitch customers the means to experience a true zero-touch deployment of CPE tailored for the SMB,” said Eric Todd, CTO of NETXUSA.
