MetaSwitch Expands Education Facilities to Four U.S. Sites

New sites provide more direct, regional-based support for growing customer base

Chicago, IL: June 19, 2007 - NXTcomm. MetaSwitch, a leading vendor of carrier-class softswitch and application solutions, announced today that, in response to demand from its rapidly growing customer base, it has opened three new North American customer education centers in addition to its existing facility in Alameda, Calif.

The new centers for customer training are in Boca Raton, Fla., Marlborough, Mass. and Des Moines, Iowa. As the MetaSwitch customer base has dramatically expanded in the last several years, so has demand for training on the company's softswitch and applications solutions. To date, more than 1,000 people have been through MetaSwitch's comprehensive education program, and those trained technicians are now managing more than 400 softswitch deployments worldwide.

"As a company, MetaSwitch is committed to the success of our customers, and we've opened the new centers to ensure that they have access to needed resources," said Paul Drew, vice president of professional services at MetaSwitch. "We have a leadership role in next-generation networking and it's vital that our customers move forward with us."

MetaSwitch also expanded the range of courses offered and hired experienced industry trainers to ensure the highest standards of instruction across all locations. In addition to basic system training available for both the company's softswitch and application server platforms, there are courses on advanced translations, advanced troubleshooting and provisioning. A VoIP Marketing class is also being introduced as part of the company's recently launched MarketVisions marketing support program.
