PhoneEasy IP Console Now Compatible with Metaswitch v7.2

Unified communication console converges IP applications for simplified operations

 

Metaswitch Forum 2010, Orlando, September 21, 2010 — AdvaTel, a leading applications software designer and developer for the global telecommunications industry, today announced that its PhoneEasy IP Console is now compatible with Metaswitch Release 7.2.

PhoneEasy IP Console complements the Metaswitch platform by provisioning unified communications capabilities to the receptionists or department answering position's desktop. The PhoneEasy IP Console operates as a SIP User Agent and integrates telephony, e-mail, SMS Text and calendar mining into one single application. The PhoneEasy IP Console will be showcased at the Metaswitch Forum in Orlando, Fla. starting Sept. 21.

PhoneEasy IP Console includes all the benefits of a hardware console, but places all the information on the receptionists' PC screen providing detail about the caller and allowing the receptionist to manage incoming and outgoing calls with just the click of a mouse. PhoneEasy IP Console displays Presence status for in-house extensions, calendar mining from the Microsoft Exchange Server, and the ability to dial Microsoft Outlook contacts. PhoneEasy eliminates time wasted calling people who are in meetings or out of the office. PhoneEasy also sets up conferences, provides call back reminders and logs all call details.
