Corporate Social Responsibility

Everywhere we operate, Metaswitch focuses on contributing in a positive way. We are committed to conducting our business with integrity, developing technology that will have a positive impact on the world in which we live, investing in and supporting our local communities and working to minimize our impact on the environment.
We embrace corporate environmental sustainability, not just in the obvious areas of recycling and reducing our carbon footprint, but also in developing leading-edge technology to enhance the way we live and the impact we have on our planet.
We are also committed to giving back to our local communities and have a long and proud history of donating to support charities and community initiatives for those less fortunate. In addition to donating funds and equipment, we also invest time and technology, with our employees involved in a wide range of activities, including running STEM activity days at schools, sharing Open Source code and working proactively with the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK and other organisations to make software development as accessible a career as possible.
We care about and take responsibility for our impact and are committed to being a positive force for good wherever we can.

Waste and Recycling

Metaswitch cares about the planet we all share and we work proactively with innovative waste management organizations to ensure as much recyclate as possible is recovered from our waste materials. We also work with organizations who offer a take-back service of our Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) on a like-for-like basis when we buy a new electrical or electronic products.

Renewable Electricity

All electricity supplied to our headquarters is certified as 100% Green Electricity.

We are also sourcing sustainable supplies for our other regional offices. We see this as an important part of our corporate social responsibility.
