MetaSwitch Launches MarketVisions Program to Support Customer Roll Outs of New Services

MetaSwitch customers, including Ridgeville Telephone, embrace access to high-value sales tools, consulting services and market research

 

Alameda, CA: April 17, 2007. MetaSwitch announced today a new market development, messaging and outreach program for innovative service providers and cable operators. MarketVisions is designed to provide MetaSwitch's 230+ customers with the tools required to successfully identify market opportunities, position their offerings, and profitably target customers.

There are six primary components to the MetaSwitch MarketVisions program, each designed to address a specific part of the overall service introduction process. Available as a complete package or with specific elements based on the service provider's specific needs, matched with their own internal resources, these services include:

  • VoIP Marketing Workshop: The VoIP Marketing Workshop is a full day, interactive workshop to aid and accelerate a Service Provider's revenue growth. The workshop will provide Service Providers the strategic market research and sales information to give them the edge in the VoIP services marketplace.
  • Small/Medium Business (SMB) Solutions Resource Package: Independent of the materials provided through the VoIP Marketing Workshop, MetaSwitch can provide a package of resources to enable Service Providers to more effectively launch a MetaSwitch powered SMB offering. These include white papers, product brochures, user guides, proposal templates, case studies and customizable sales presentations.
  • Residential Solutions Resource Package: For carriers primarily targeting consumers, MetaSwitch will offer a set of materials to help drive revenue and promote line growth. The focus of this part of the program is on delivering enhanced services over existing POTS lines, together with VoIP, IPTV, and converged fixed/mobile capabilities, as a compelling total package.
  • 20/20 Vision Market Research and Segmentation Services: MetaSwitch's "20/20 Vision" Program is designed to aid Marketing and Sales teams accurately size markets and better target customers that are appropriate targets for MetaSwitch-powered services. Through this program, MetaSwitch customers have access to detailed market data broken down by customer type, geographic region, demographics, projected total telecom spend, and a range of other factors critical to the marketing professional.
  • M3 Public Relations Program: For service providers not yet engaged in a fully supported public relations program MetaSwitch is offering, in partnership with Connect2 Communications, a Messaging, Method and Media approach that enables them to communicate the key values their company or products bring to market.
  • Service Provider Direct Marketing: MetaSwitch supports its customers' efforts to market their services to target customers - potentially those identified through 20/20 vision. MetaSwitch develops a series of brandable templates for common Service Provider direct marketing opportunities including sales flyers, bill inserts, direct-mail and e-mail.

Unlike other vendor marketing programs, the scope of MarketVisions goes well beyond a "quick start" recipe book of generic off-the-shelf materials. MetaSwitch's in-house team of experienced marketing professionals and industry-expert partners work closely with the service providers' own staff to produce actionable go-to-market plans and customized materials.
