If the called party’s phone is engaged or can’t be reached, this application enables callers to request the network to call them back when the called party becomes available.
The application first dials-out to the original calling party (the person who requested the call back) and checks that they still want to place the call and remind them that they will pay the call charges. The application then dials-out to the called party.
The application has a configurable “waiting limit” for example 1 hour. If the called party is still not available after this time the application may call-back the original caller, or send an SMS to advise them of the time-out – with an option to extend the waiting period.
