MetaView dramatically simplifies the process of rolling out new services to large enterprise and residential customers alike, while practically eliminating configuration errors. Moreover, the MetaView portfolio of products includes comprehensive real-time analytics and key performance indicator measurements, enabling unmatched and always-on visibility — right down to the protocol decode level.

From a single stand-alone SBC appliance to a complete cloud native VoLTE/VoWiFi solution serving 100 million+ subscribers, MetaView delivers a coherent toolchain for all operational needs. Deployable as a collection of virtualized network functions (VNFs), MetaView can scale elastically within standardized network functions virtualization (NFV) infrastructures to grow dynamically with a network, subscriber base or usage profiles.

The MetaView product suite delivers complete ISO fault, configuration, accounting, performance, security (FCAPS) capabilities. With its multi-level, NOC-oriented user interface, MetaView Explorer displays the operational status of an entire communications service infrastructure, including detailed maps with comprehensive logs and alarm histories.

MetaView Web features an intuitive and user-friendly browser-based interface designed for customer support supervisors and subscriber provisioning agents, making it easier to view and edit common service settings such as residential line profiles and enterprise business groups.

The MetaView Service Assurance Server (SAS) complements these provisioning platforms with deep, real-time, always-on troubleshooting for network infrastructure and services. With simple search criteria MetaView SAS can instantly display every routing rule applied to a call, and with the click of a button drill down to the individual protocol decodes. MetaView SAS requires no additional network probes or span port/mirror resources and does not degrade the performance of the Metaswitch components being monitored in any way.

MetaView Analytics combines service KPIs and SAS data into analysis tools such as Splunk for deep insights into traffic flows and trends, while the MetaView Statistics Engine (MVSE) serves up customizable graphs of KPIs for our network functions at a cluster and node level, and gives users the ability to set threshold alarms. MVSE forms the foundation for the dynamic, elastic scaling of our VNFs when deployed in virtualized service architectures.

MetaView supports standard OSS integration with northbound APIs, including SNMP, REST, SOAP and CORBA, and can be integrated easily with any NFVI Management and Orchestration (MANO) platform.
